When is it a good idea to change your locks? For many people, this isn’t a question they have even ever asked themselves. If you have ever lost a key, had a key stolen, or maybe you just can’t account for all of your keys, you could be putting you and your belongings in harms way. It is extremely important for you to keep all of your keys together and accounted for. If a thief gets a hold of your keys, you could be putting your belongings and even your personal safety in harms way. This is not ideal.
What exactly is a smart lock? The term refers to any device that lets you unlock a door without using a key. Avent Security Smart Door Locks have touch pads where you enter a PIN code. Some products use fingerprint technology (which operates with two IR detectors), which make the sensor activate automatically when a finger is placed on it. Integrated with the 3rd-generation of fingerprint algorithm, the sensor can identify the fingerprint faster and clearer. The fingerprint door lock users' registration data remains safely stored in the device, even in the event of a total power outage, so there is never a need to re-enroll users. And, there's no need to change the locks when a previously authorized user is no longer permitted door access.
